Seva App is a donation platform designed to help Hindu devotees manage and send donations to various temples with ease. It offers a centralized and transparent donation experience, allowing users to view their contributions in real-time, both individually and in groups. With a visual approach infused with Tumeric and Kumkum tones, Seva App aims to create a warm atmosphere that resonates with the cultural values of Hindu temples.

The main challenge of this project was to create an intuitive interface for a diverse range of users while handling complex features such as group donation management, leaderboards, transaction history, and tax report generation. Additionally, the design needed to support a multi-temple system and maintain consistent branding and easy navigation throughout the app.

As the UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for planning the navigation structure, creating wireframes, and finalizing the high-fidelity designs. The design process began with establishing a four-tab structure: Home, Donations, Groups, and Profile. I prioritized a simple user flow, ensuring that completing a donation would take only a few taps.

Seva App successfully launched as the first multi-temple donation application with a strong group community feature. Through its minimalist yet meaningful design, Seva App managed to make the donation experience personal and heartfelt, provide full transparency to users through detailed donation history and statuses, and increase community engagement via the leaderboard feature.

The project received highly positive feedback from the client and won a design contest on the 99designs platform. This outcome demonstrated that a user-centered design approach, sensitive to cultural values, can have a significant impact on community-based digital products.
